The dishwasher

I will be the first one to stand up and say I love my dishwasher! I put everything in it. Yesterday, I was doing some massive sanitizing, because chonie boy is sick again... He's been sick for almost 3 months straight.
In Hawaii most people who have a dishwasher don't use it. They are nuts!

Yes, I want to save the environment. No, I don't want to spend my life doing things that are simplified by technology, but that's another battle.

Here is a list of the things I regularly wash in my dish machine, I break the loads into thing that are gross to normal things.

1. Toys
2. Hair clips
3. Hair brushes
4. Tooth brushes
5. The bathroom step stool
6. The 5 gallon water jugs (yes, they fit two at a time without the top rack)
7. Flip flops
8. Vacuum parts
9. Boom bottom
10. Dust pan
11. Trash can lid
12. Bathroom trash can
13. Baseball hats
14. Small coolers
15. Sponges
16. Potato scrubbers
17. Car cup holders
18. Car Ash trays
19. Nick nacks
20. Rubber mats
Oh yeah, and the dishes!

The list goes on and on. My theory is if it's dirty enough I will try it. If it gets ruined in the machine, I toss it because it probably needed to be replaced anyway. Note: turn the heat dry off if your not sure...

  1. Nice! I have only tried dishes in mine really. Maybe I will try something new in there this week.
