This is actually my friend "Heather #1's receipt. She went to Iowa for a month to spend some time with a friend and just texted me for the ingredients. It's super good everyone loves it, so I thought it might be a good thing to add to my ever expanding collection... Thanks, Heather.
Sweet and Sour Sauce
1/2 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
1 TBL Cornstarch
1 Can (8 oz) Crushed Pineapple in water. Drain and reserve juice
1/3 Cup White Vinegar
1 TBL Soy Sauce
1/4 Cup Diced Green Bell Peppers
In a 1 quart sauce pan mix brown sugar and cornstarch
Add enough water to reserve pineapple juice to measure 1/2 cup; stir into sugar mix. Then stir into sugar mix. Then add vinegar and soy sauce.
Over medium heat, bring to a boil stirring continuously. Boil for one minute. Then Stir in pineapple and bell peppers.
Enjoy!

Roasted Red Pepper Hummus
This is a super easy, tasty, and pretty quick for a snack. Easy to make vegan or raw vegan.
Roasted Red Pepper Hummus
1 can Garbanzo Beans Drained
2 TBL Olive Oil
1 TBL Lemon Juice
1 tea Cumin Powder
1 1/2 tea Minced Garlic
1 Roasted Red Pepper
1 1/2 tea Brown Sesame Seeds
Salt and Pepper to taste
Put everything in a blender till smooth. Eat!!!!

Super Fast and Easy Red Enchilada Sauce
I love to cook. Some things we try and we don't like some we love and they become a family favorite. We love this recipe because it is so fun and easy.
Prep time: 5 minutes Cook time: 10 minutes Ready in: 15 minutes
1/4 cup Olive Oil
2 cloves fresh crushed garlic
2 TBL Flour
1 oz package of New Mexican Chili Powder
1/4 tea Regular Chili Powder
1/4 tea Cayenne Pepper
1 16oz Can Tomato Sauce
2 cups Water
1/2 tea Ground Cumin
Heat oil over medium heat, saute garlic.Then stir in flour, new Mexican chili powders, regular chili powder and cayenne pepper until a smooth paste forms.
Slowly add in the tomato sauce, water, cumin, and garlic powder mix until warm and thickened slightly. Season with salt to taste. If the sauce becomes to thick add a little water and stir.
*New Mexican Chili powder is not very hot. If you are sensitive to hot foods remove the cayenne pepper and regular chili powder.

Hot Salsa!
We are huge salsa fans, and I always was hesitant to by salsa at the store because they are so hit and miss. I started making this pico de gallo recipe a few years back. I've changed it many times, often leave thing out, use canned instead of fresh, made it hot, or mild. It always wow everyone. If you like mild salsa leave out the Jalapeno, Cayenne, and half the Chili Powder.
1 can Green Chili's
1 tea. Minced Garlic or 1 Clove diced
3 Large Ripe Tomato's or 2 cans Diced Tomato's
1 Jalapeno seeded diced
Juice on 1 Line or 2 tea Lime Juice
1/4 bunch Cilantro
1/2 tea. Salt
1/2 tea. Chili Powder
1/2 tea. Cayenne Pepper
Add above to a blender then blend then stir in
1/2 Onion Diced
1/4 Bunch Cilantro Diced
1 can Green Chili's
1 tea. Minced Garlic or 1 Clove diced
